The Influence of Social Competence, Physical Work Environment and Financial Compensation on Employee Performance is Mediated by Job Satisfaction at the Bpjs Employment Office, Medan City Branch
Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the influence of social and physical competence in the work environment as well as financial compensation on employee performance which is mediated by job satisfaction at the BPJS Employment Medan City Branch office, both directly and indirectly. This research uses a quantitative approach and statistical analysis, namely Partial Least Squares - Structural Question Model (PLS SEM). The research results show that social competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Social competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Financial Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Financial Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Job satisfaction has no effect on performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of social competence on employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of the physical work environment on employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of Financial Compensation on employee performance.
