PENGAJARAN BAHASA BERBASIS IDENTITAS BUDAYA DI ERA GLOBALISASI DAN BAHASA

Abstract


: Perkembangan pesat pendidikan digital telah mengubah pembelajaran bahasa melalui konten digital inovatif. Namun, globalisasi mengancampelestarian identitas budaya dalam program pendidikan bahasa asing, termasuk Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA). Esai ini berpendapat bahwa mengintegrasikan identitas budaya bukanlah sekadar pelengkap, melainkan kebutuhan pedagogis mendasar dalam pendidikan digital yang terglobalisasi.

Pengajaran BIPA saat ini bergantung pada materi umum yang mewakili sebagian keragaman linguistik dan budaya Indonesia yang kaya, sehingga menciptakan kesenjangan antara penguasaan bahasa dan pemahaman budaya yang otentik. Berdasarkan kerangka kerja kompetensi komunikasi antarbudaya (ICC), khususnya Model ICC Byram, esai ini mengkaji bagaimana alat digital, seperti platform multimedia, modul yang responsif terhadap budaya, dan pembelajaran berbasis permainan, dapat mendukung transmisi identitas budaya.

Esai ini mengusulkan kerangka kerja BIPA Digital yang Terintegrasi Budaya berbasis tiga pilar: konten kearifan lokal yang didigitalisasi, desain instruksional metakognitif yang berpusat pada budaya, serta integrasi permainan digital yang relevan secara budaya. Temuan yang terindeks di Scopus menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum yang sadar budaya meningkatkan kemahiran bahasa dan kompetensi antarbudaya. Selain itu, BIPA berfungsi sebagai instrumen diplomatik yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai Indonesia secara global.

Kesimpulannya, pendidikan bahasa digital yang berkelanjutan harus memposisikan identitas budaya bukan sebagai hambatan, melainkan sebagai aset paling berharga dalam globalisasi, mendorong pemahaman lintas budaya mendalam di era globalisasi
