Efektivitas Penggunaan Platform Digital Interaktif Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbahasa Siswa SD Kelas Rendah (Sebuah Studi Kasus Di SDN 1505 Pasir Julu)

Abstract


This study examines the effectiveness of using interactive digital platforms in improving the language skills of lower grade elementary school students at SDN 1505 Pasir Julu. Using a qualitative approach through a case study method, the study was conducted for one full semester involving 60 students from grades 1-3 as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with Indonesian language teachers, and analysis of learning documents. The results of the study showed a significant increase in four aspects of language skills: (1) increased listening skills marked by an increase in concentration duration from an average of 8 minutes to 15 minutes and an increase in oral comprehension from 62% to 85%; (2) development of speaking skills seen from the increase in the average number of words in conversation from 25 to 42 words and increased student confidence; (3) progress in reading skills with an increase in reading speed from 35 to 58 words per minute and accuracy level from 78% to 92%; and (4) development of writing skills as indicated by a 65% decrease in spelling errors and a 70% increase in the use of correct punctuation. This study concludes that the use of appropriate interactive digital technology can be an effective strategy for optimizing language learning at the elementary school level.
