Assessing the Effectiveness of the Board of Trustees of LAZ Assalaam Timika: A Quality Performance Analysis"

Abstract


Zakat is the third pillar of Islam so it is obligatory and applies to all Muslims. The purpose of this research is to analyze and examine the performance quality of amil zakat institutions. The object of research is the Lembaga Amil Zakat Assalaam Timika with a qualitative research design using qualitative descriptive. Collective data by interviewing the governing bodies and supervisory bodies, the data is processed with the help of the Nvivo 12 Plus software. Quality is a dynamic condition related to goods, services, people, systems and exceed expectations. The results of the study prove that the Lembaga Amil Zakat Assalaam Timika, has already run many programs in the form of collecting, distributing and utilizing Zakat infaq and alms funds including the Assisted Village Program, Dhuafa scholarships, Food packages for the poor, basic food packages and religious guidance for motorcycle professions (Ojek) and productive zakat for catfish farmers.
