Proceeding International Seminar of Islamic Studies
Proceeding International Seminar of Islamic Studies Interdisciplinary is an annual international conference held by Faculty of Islamic Studies Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. This conference is designed to accelerate the increase of knowledge, especially in the fields of: Islamic religious education, Islamic thought, Information Technology, Islamic law, social and politics and economics.
INSIS is considered one of the greatest conferences in UMSU. It is proven by its success in inviting prominent researchers, scholars, and lecturers across the globe to present diverse topics.
The objective of INSIS is to exchange and share ideas and research findings among presenters and audiences. Moreover, it serves as an open forum to discuss the most recent trends, innovations, challenges faced, and solutions adopted in the scope of Islamic religious education, Islamic thought, Information Technology, Islamic law, social and politics and economics.

SEMINAR INTERNASIONAL BIPA 2026
Seminar Internasional BIPA 2026 oleh Lembaga BIPA Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara dengan tema "Pengajaran Kebahasaan di Era Digital: Inovasi, Industrialisasi, dan Globalisasi BIPA" merupakan inisiatif strategis dalam mendukung pengembangan BIPA di tingkat internasional. Kegiatan ini dirancang sebagai forum akademik bergengsi yang mempertemukan para pemangku kepentingan akademisi, praktisi, dan pengambil kebijakan dalam satu ruang dialog ilmiah yang produktif dan kolaboratif. Melalui forum ini, berbagai gagasan, pengalaman, dan hasil penelitian akan dipertukarkan secara konstruktif untuk merespons dinamika pengajaran bahasa di era digital. Isu-isu strategis yang diangkat meliputi digitalisasi pembelajaran BIPA, penguatan industri dan peluang global, pengembangan kewirausahaan kebahasaan, perluasan lapangan kerja, inovasi pendekatan dan strategi pengajaran, integrasi budaya dalam pembelajaran, serta transformasi digital dalam pengajaran bahasa. Adapun Subtema pada kegiatan ini diantaranya :
Dengan demikian, seminar ini diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi ruang diskusi ilmiah, tetapi juga menjadi katalisator dalam mendorong pengembangan BIPA yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berdaya saing global. The 2nd UMSU–UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah International Conference on Education, Language, and Interdisciplinary Studies
This international academic conference will be held on 23–24 July 2026 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Indonesia, and will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participation both onsite and online.
The conference serves as a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, educators, practitioners, and students from various countries to exchange ideas, present research findings, and discuss contemporary issues across education, language studies, and interdisciplinary fields.
