Abstract

This study is intended to reveal the relationship between environmental value, environmental engagement, and sustainable consumption behavior, as well as their mediating effects. The conceptual model was assembled by adopting the SOR model to explain the expected final response. This type of survey research uses a quantitative deductive approach. A sample of 110 respondents was collected using a purposive sampling method through an online questionnaire based on age criteria, namely, 18 years and over. Data analysis technique using PLS-SEM SmartPLS v4.0.8.5. The findings show that the tested direct and indirect effects proved positive and significant. Thus, environmental engagement can mediate in promoting environmental value and sustainable consumption behavior in daily life and activities.
