Ziswaf Fund Management Development Strategy in Islamic Banking

Abstract


In The purpose of this study is to examine the problems faced by Islamic banking in carrying out the social function of managing ziswaf funds. The research design uses a qualitative description, the research object is Islamic banking in Indonesia. Data collection came from informants consisting of sharia banking practitioners, banking regulatory agencies (OJK), philanthropic institutions and academics. The results of the study prove that the strategy of Islamic banking in developing commercial aspects refers to the roadmap of Islamic banking in Indonesia, with development directions consisting of strengthening Islamic banking identity, creating a synergistic Islamic ecosystem and strengthening licensing, regulation and supervision. In addition, this research has an impact on the development of social aspects of Islamic banking in managing ziswaf funds based on regulations and is of great benefit to Muslims.
