INTEGRASI KECERDASAN BUATAN DALAM PENDIDIKAN PENERJEMAHAN: PERSPEKTIF MAHASISWA DAN DOSEN DI PERGURUAN TINGGI INDONESIA.
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam pendidikan penerjemahan dengan menyoroti pandangan dan pengalaman mahasiswa serta dosen di dua perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Analisis tematik menghasilkan empat temuan utama, yaitu AI sebagai pendukung pembelajaran dan produktivitas, perubahan strategi pengajaran melalui praktik pasca-sunting, munculnya isu etis terkait ketergantungan dan integritas akademik, serta kebutuhan akan keterampilan baru seperti rekayasa prompt dan literasi digital.
Mahasiswa menilai AI membantu memahami teks umum maupun teknis, memperkaya kosakata, dan mempercepat penyusunan draf terjemahan. Namun, mereka juga mengakui keterbatasan AI dalam menerjemahkan teks sastra dan konten yang sarat unsur budaya karena memerlukan kreativitas dan sensitivitas budaya. Sementara itu, dosen memandang AI sebagai alat yang bermanfaat, tetapi penggunaannya perlu diarahkan secara bertanggung jawab dan disertai kemampuan untuk mengevaluasi hasil terjemahan secara kritis.
Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa AI berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan penerjemahan apabila diintegrasikan dengan prinsip etika, pemikiran kritis, dan pendekatan yang mempertimbangkan karakteristik berbagai genre teks. Integrasi tersebut dapat mendukung pengembangan kurikulum yang adaptif serta menghasilkan penerjemah yang kompeten di era digital.
